This weekend I finally had a chance to pop into Treasure & Bond in Soho. I had been hearing about it for a few months and since we were having brunch across the street it was the perfect opportunity to check it out. Treasure & Bond is a concept shop owned by Nordstroms. It sells mens, womens and kids clothings as well as home accessories.
The first thing I noticed was the tag line on the window: “100% of our profits go to non-profits in NYC benefitting children”. The two story store with large glass windows looked appealing from across the street but the tag made it hard to resist. I did some research and it turns out that the store will pick two charities in New York City to donate to every few months. That definitely eases the shopping guilt!
The store was designed well, with white reliefs behind a few of the candle displays to add visual interest. I really loved the large variety of candles and scents.
I’m a huge fan of these hand knit stools by Pehuen that were on display on the second floor. The smaller stool sells for $590.
This ceramic robot was just adorable. I didn’t get the price but I’ll be going back for this one.
If you are in the area and have a few minutes I highly recommend popping in. Treasure & Bond is on 350 West Broadway between Grand and Broome.
