2012: Design Spotlights
Today we have the first Design Spotlights of 2012! To start your year off right I have a few items to help you stay organized, accessorized, comfortable and lucky. Please let me know what you think.
I saw this Short Order Design Notepad at SwissMiss and actually chuckled out loud. The “client might not know what they really want” box is quite clever. Plus its a great way to stay organized. The notepads are designed by Adam Oreste and right now, because of the wonderful feature by SwissMiss, they are out of stock and working on large scale printing. If you would like to order just one or two, you can contact them.
Also on my radar right now are the Modernist Mugs by West Elm. The Japanese made mugs are inspired by 1950′s diner prints. Plus: they are dishwasher and microwave safe. You can purchase them for $10 each.
The chair is upholstered in pool blue with atomic orange piping in a box shape. You might remember that Tangerine is the Pantone color of the year. This chair fits the new trend perfectly. Cost: $799
The Luck Side Table has a top and bottom tray, both coated in clover colored enamel with a black powder coated iron frame. The table is made in India and is being sold for $199. That’s a great deal!
