Are you ready for this? Pantone has unveiled 336 new colors, bringing the total number of Pantone Plus solid color choices to 1,677! The new colors will also be added to the Pantone Matching System, and will be numbered 2001 through 2336. The new colors will add a variety of saturation, undertones and values, “from subtle pastels and reliable mid-tones to the intensity of deep tones, vivid
brights and vital, nuanced neutrals.” The new colors, coated and uncoated, will be available at the end of June 2012. Take a look at the FAQ for more information.
