Design Spotlights

It’s been rainy and overcast here in New York but I’m still in a summer mood. Here are a few brightly colored summer spotlights for you.

The Knotted Melati Hanging Lamp can be hung outdoors from porch rafters or from a tree, for the perfect outdoor party.  The citrus pod is made in blue and lime green with star shaped cut outs, and is available at Anthropologie for $498.

I’ll be working alot this summer, so I’m considering sprucing up my desk with something bright, to keep me cheerful while I stay indoors. I like the mixed materials in this Yellow Angle Table Lamp, available at Douglas + Bec. The lamp shade and base are made of spun metal and a grey woven cord wraps through the oak arm.

If you are looking to add a pop to your dining area you may consider the Red Pantone Chair. I typically see these chairs in white, but the red is attractive as well. Available at The Conran Shop for $260, it’s a steal!
