Fourth of July is right around the corner! Unfortunately it’s right in the middle of the week this year, screwing up all of our long weekends, but having a day off mid-week isn’t so bad. I’m not a huge holiday person, but I LOVE July 4th. Really, I love it. Yes, it’s very American of me. I think it’s more the idea of freedom, and that we take time out to celebrate it that gets to me the most. We Americans take it for granted and so many people in the world do not get to enjoy all of the things we do. Yes, I saw The Newsroom on Sunday, we don’t need to have that talk right now! At the end of the day, freedom is something to cherish, its a great thing to celebrate, and the burgers and firecrackers don’t hurt either!
