Snapshots with My Holga

I picked up my prints last night! This is the first roll of film I’ve taken with my new Holga camera. The camera was a birthday present from Hubster to help me be more creative and stay inspired. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. As expected, the pictures are not amazing. I haven’t worked with film in so long that my hand is pretty shaky. I’m used to instantly seeing my images and being able to retake them, and using the Holga was very different. I tried out a few techniques but I’m not sure you can really tell here! I promised I’d share a few so here they are.

Right now I’ve got 35mm film in the camera and a fisheye lens on it. I hope to get that developed soon, so stay tuned!

  1. I am super excited for you. I think this is so great that I hope you don’t mind if I pull out an old holga I inherited along the way… I think your shots are fun and I can’t wait to see more.
