We’ve been seeing a lot of creativity coming out of Mexico recently, and I have been featuring much of it here, on Life in Sketch. The Just In Case kit is a prime example of this. The survival kit was branded and packaged by MENOSUNOCEROUNO, a studio based out of Monterrey, Mexico. At the end of 2012 the world may, or may not, come to an end and the Just In Case kit could be the key to surviving the apocalypse.
The kit includes many iconic Mexican items that have been repackaged in this yellow and black box. The most exciting of the group may be the Chocolate Abuelita, which is a dark based chocolate laced with cinnamon, and the Mayan liqueur Xtabentun D’aristi. Obviously we won’t survive without practical items as well, such as the Simple Knife, 40 Emergency Black Matches and Basic Water. While tipsy off of the liqueur and high off of the sugar you can take notes in your Doméstica Yellow Notebook, a design classic from Monterrey.
Available in select design stores in Mexico, this would make the perfect gift for that friend or family member you’d like to keep safe. What are your thoughts on the gift? Does it have everything you need to survive?

This is too cool! Of course you need chocolate and liqueur in a survival kit! I love the design and colors of it.

What makes it interesting is when it comes to decide of what I would like to have in my survival kit. Interesting food for thought…
Beautiful design so! And matches with your sm buttons:-)
