Happy Archtober! (Architecture + October = Archtober, get it?) For the second year in a row New York City is holding a month long architecture festival, filled with exhibitions, activites and discussions. It’s really exciting for all of us architecture and design nerds!
Archtober has it’s own website and calendar. In addition to the actual Archtober events, many companies have put together their own festivities. Here are two that look interesting:
Dwell has teamed up with New York Magazine to create City Modern – a week of tours, lectures and parties! October 1st – 7th.
On October 6th and 7th a variety of architecture tours are offered throughout the 5 boroughs.
If I had it my way, I’d attend an event a day. Obviously, life gets in the way. I’ll be instagraming all events I do get to attend. Follow along!
