Blanco, a BlogTour Cologne sponsor, was really fabulous to us bloggers. On our first night with the group in Cologne, we attended a dinner Blanco threw together for us at the German Sports & Olympics Museum, which was incredible. I was grateful for the event because we got a chance to mingle with our BlogTour team in person and meet other bloggers and designers that were attending IMM. In addition to our Modenus BlogTour group, Blanco had it’s own group of bloggers attending the IMM events. We had all been tweeting and hashtagging for days and we finally got to meet in person on this introductory night.
We were greeting by signature champagne cocktails and appetizers and then whisked away on a tour of the museum. This wasn’t a typical museum tour. We were encouraged to participate in the Olympic activities, like walking the balance beam, measuring our jumping distance, boxing and testing our biking skills.
The museum covered the vast history of the Olympics as well as the history of German Olympics. We learned about the evolution of sports and the evolution of women in sports, which was very inspiring.
After the tour we were treated to a three course dinner paired with delicious wine. The red wine was possibly the best I’ve ever had! I’ll be searching for this everywhere from now on!
It was nice to be able to get to know our teammates before we jumped into the craziness that is IMM. I loved the interactive experience of the museum and the friendships that started that night. Thank you Blanco for the amazing night!

Now I wish I’d tried the wine instead of all the chatting I did!
