How to Pack a Suitcase

I’m leaving for BlogTour Cologne in just a few days! I know many of my fellow bloggers have already started packing, but I’ll be getting to it tonight. I was just in Spain for two weeks and I definitely overpacked, and overstuffed my suitcase! I travel a lot, and I am often packing and unpacking my suitcase, but somehow this last trip I couldn’t manage to fit everything I wanted neatly into the suitcase. I used the “military tips” of rolling my socks + gym clothes (why did I bring gym clothes?!) and I was able find everything in my suitcase with my eyes closed. But for this next trips I thought I’d get some professional help. I found this video made by London Heathrow and it’s got some pretty useful tips. I think I can fit everything in nicely, with room to spare. Do you have any packing tips for me? Please leave a comment and let me know!

Here’s a bonus video for the ladies, about how to care for your skin in the air. The video tells us to drink 50 cl of water every hour we are in the air. That’s approximately 16 ounces.

Just a few days left now until BlogTour Cologne!

I think drinking wine is the opposite of hydrating, so we’ll have to tap a little extra to make up for it! Can’t wait to get on that plane! Packing tonight, wish me luck :)

I always pack more than I need, too. Make sure to leave some place, Cologne is full of nice little souvenirs.
Looking forward to meeting you! Have a safe trip.

I’m going to delete things from my bag, I promise. I can’t wait to go shopping in Cologne! See you soon :)

  4. I am pretty good on the packing, but I wasn’t aware of the good skin tips. I always wear my glasses because my contacts get so dry feeling. The only packing tip I can think of is that I like to roll outfits up together so that I don’t have to make any choices when I’m tired. For example, I’ll roll the matching sweater up with my jeans.

Keeping outfits together is something I usually do too. But I tried it this way and fit everything. I won’t be able to find anything, though! I’m going to have to unpack completely, what a disaster!
