It’s our first edition of Shop This Room this year! Last year I focused on living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, all in my favorite color – GREY! I thought I’d kick off the new year with something a little different. Many of my friends are having babies, and some are even on their second babies! Since I’ve been getting many questions about how to decorate a nursery, I thought I’d focus on just that today. Today’s shop this room is a a quick and easy way to get this nursery look.
This nursery is designed by a Madrid based firm, Living Pink. It’s pink and feminine, for a girl, but it can easily be adjusted for a boy, or even made gender neutral if you don’t know what you’re having yet! If you want to stick to neutral colors you can choose yellow, green, or orange. I’ve been told that baby’s first color is red, so bold might be better! Since the backdrop of this room is white, it’s very easy to have it fit your needs.
The beauty of this room is that it can be replicated with just a few items. If you don’t have a white wood floor, pick up a white rug. Rugs are nice because they can be changed often. If you’re someone who likes to redecorate a lot, rugs are the way to go! I’m also a huge fan of this lamp, because although it’s not an original, it’s very trendy and allows a lot of light to shine through.

Tina, I love this series and was not familiar with Living Pink! Just hopped over to their portfolio and of course their work is fantastic. Your knowledge of the international design community is such a pleasure to be exposed to. TY!
