I just returned from Alt Summit in Salt Lake City, Utah and I couldn’t be more inspired! Later this week I’ll be sharing a recap of what I learned and what stuck out the most. Today I wanted to share a beautiful space to help you kick off your week with style. I really wanted to visit the Washington School House Hotel in Park City, but unfortunately I didn’t make it over. This boutique hotel has been on my list of places to visit for a while now. I have a huge Design Crush on this place!
The hotel was originally built in 1889 as a school house, hence the name. Currently it holds 12 rooms and suites with antique elements like the aged hardwood floors and Euro-styled furnishings. The simple white backdrop allows the gilded furniture to shine.
The furniture and furnishings are in soft tones of neutrals and slight pastels. The set a calming down after returning from a day on the slopes.
The interior has 16 foot high ceilings while the exterior is home to a heated pool, located hillside. Other perks of the beautiful hotel include a private chef and in room massage. I can’t wait to get back to Park City to visit and hopefully stay here!
