Design Crush: Fantastic Frank in Stockholm, Sweden

I stumbled across Fantastic Frank, a real estate firm in Stockholm, that lists and sells gorgeous homes. I mean, every home on their site makes me swoon! I don’t know if they just get have clients with impeccable taste, or they style and decorate the spaces before they list them, but each is styled with a modern Scandinavian look – a little industrial and a little mid-century. Here’s one I have a major design crush on.

This two bedroom home has depth and character. When most of us think of modern Scandinavian design we immediately think of bright white spaces with pops of black. Instead, this home has deep rich greys, blue-greys and shades of blush.

I am particularly attracted to the interesting mix of furniture. There are several furniture styles in one room, for example in the living room, that I would not have thought to put together. Yet somehow this unusual mix works well, and is intriguing.

The home has a simple design. It’s not overly decorated and does not contain too many accessories. The mix of textures elevates the simple design.

I love the placement of artwork as well. One or two pieces are added to a room, it’s not cluttered with gallery walls and too many prints. Yet the home still looks complete.

I am in awe of this home. It looks comfortable, inviting and spacious without being too in-your-face. What do you think of this Stockholm home?
