I’ve always wanted to visit Palm Springs. There’s something about the city that appears relaxed, easy going and stylish to me. I was so sad when I wasn’t able to attend Modernism Week last month. Following along on instagram I felt so jealous of all that were there! While following the hashtag I found The Parker Palm Springs, a gorgeous, beautifully designed hotel.
I have a serious design crush and I’m totally planning a vacation! The Parker is affiliated with Le Parker Meridian here in New York, which I also adore. But The Parker IS Palm Springs. The architecture blows me away, especially the cinder block detailed entrance and bright orange door.
Jonathan Adler put his signature style on the hotel. The interior design and exterior furniture layouts and design are similar. They are hip, fun and edgy, while still remaining calm and laid back. The orange details are pulled through all common areas.
One of my favorite spaces has to be the lounge with floating fireplace. I’d love to sip a cocktail here!
In contrast to the common areas, the guest suites do not contain orange, but still follow the neutral theme. The rooms are calming because of their color palette, yet the design keeps you looking for longer.
The grounds are stunning. You are surrounded with lush vegetation and you can see mountains in the distance.
I’m seriously dying right now! Have you been the The Parker Palm Springs? Does it feel like your vacation style?
