THE FRIDAY TOP 5 {03.20.15}

Weather keeps changing and changing, and since we’re not 100% sure it’s going to be sunny this weekend, we picked indoor activities only. This week we are particularly excited about what the Macaron Parlour is going to do for macaron day. Seriously, very excited!

Bar Primi

325 Bowery, Manhattan

We all have our own favorite italian restaurants in the city, but it’s good to change it up once in a while. Primi serves a fantastic pasta selection, antipastis and delicious italian wine!

Molasses Books is our latest go-to bookstore + cafe. All the books are arranged on vintage wood shelves and you can skim a few books while drinking a latte.

Fatal Attraction

The Metropolitan Museum of Art – 1000 5th Ave., Manhattan

“Life force” and death are part of the theme the artist Piotr Uklański chose to present in this exhibition. Inspired by some Sigmund Freud thoughts, it is really like a powerful journey towards the understanding of life.

Macaron Parlour

111 St Marks Place, Manhattan

Today is the OFFICIAL macaron day! Macaron Parlour, one of the best bakeries in the city, decided to create 24 new macarons (one an hour) to honor this special day. The flavors haven’t been revealed yet, but how can we possibly be disappointed by people who create cat-inspired macarons?

Anine Bing

330 Bleeker St., Manhattan

Anine Bing sells those “not so basics” we all enjoy wearing. That may explain why we were that excited when the brand announced they were opening a store in West Village! Not only the clothes are fantastic, but the space also looks amazing!
